Private Label Supplements (PLS)

PROJECT PURPOSE

This is a project to supply all 42,073 public classrooms in Oklahoma with one 16 ounce bottle of hand sanitizer and one canister of disinfectant wipes or spray and to supply all 703,650 K-12 students in Oklahoma with one 8 ounce bottle of hand sanitizer at NO COST to the State. Requested funds will be used to expand PLS's existing production capacity to 730,000 units per day by relocating to 118,946 SF of vacant industrial space in Oklahoma City that will create 300 new manufacturing jobs.

POPULATION DESCRIPTION

This project affects the entire State of Oklahoma and its entire population by enhancing public safety and helping to prevent the spread of diseases such as COVID-19 in all public classrooms. PLS will locate its production expansion in an Opportunity Zone in Oklahoma City (off 29th St just NE of the airport) and will create 300 new manufacturing jobs in this distressed area.

PERFORMANCE MEASURING

This project can be measured by the number of jobs to be created to manufacture the products to be delivered to the State Department of Education. It is anticipated that these jobs will be permanent a
