OKLAHOMANS PROJECTED TO BENEFIT
ESTIMATED PROJECT DURATION
This project is targeted at the scourage of mental health issues experienced by the Military and other first responders. All forms of soldier resiliency will be services, including sexual assault and harassment services, family services, and mental health services. It will bring together disparate Federal and State resources. This is a Federally approved facility, which means it will be maintained 100%, to include appropriate salaries with Federal dollars. These services are desperately needed by our Soldiers and Airmen, as well as across our Oklahoma First responder community.
Military-related mental illness is well documented. Suicide, depression, and many other forms of mental illness are endemic in our force. This project centralizes resources to combat this courage.
All Oklahoma National Guard Soldiers and Airmen will benefit across a broad number of resiliency markers, including mental health, substance abuse, and family readiness. This is a Federally authorized Guard facility, with no construction funding but 100% maintenance funding available.
We collect appropriate data already, across a number of client mental health service lines. This facility and program will be a holistic approach to Soldier and Airmen resiliency.
