PROJECT PURPOSE
Durant State Fish Hatchery (DSFH) currently has 33 production ponds that are unusable and in need of repair. This project would repair these ponds and increase fish production substantially.
EVIDENCE
Ponds at DSFH are unusable, thus limiting the number of fish produced and stocked.
POPULATION DESCRIPTION
Renovation and repair of the DSFH production ponds will increase the number of fish produced and stocked statewide, thus increasing angling opportunities statewide and enhancing the outdoor recreational experience.
