All of the historic black towns in Oklahoma are communities of predominately African American, a vulnerable population. National and statewide statics show that the African American was disproportionately, negatively impacted by the pandemic in all areas; health, finances, housing and business, and have not recovered. This project will help each community by injecting human and financial capital to create a positive economic impact.
PERFORMANCE MEASURING
The project will be measured regularly by following three standards: The number of towns with improved governmental structuring and operations. The number of economic development projects each town gets started and finishes. The number of towns with improved financial stability.
