PROJECT PURPOSE

The purpose of this program is to expand symmetrical gigabit-speed fiber optic broadband service to as many as 700,000 customer locations across Oklahoma. We are committed to expanding our fiber footprint and are actively seeking projects that will enable us to bring gigabit-speed fiber broadband to areas most in need. AT&T remains flexible as to the details of this transformational project and commits to continue to partner with lawmakers and state leaders to define the scope and footprint in a manner that maximizes the benefit of this historic investment.

POPULATION DESCRIPTION

The COVID?19 public health emergency underscored how critical broadband is for all Oklahomans for education, virtual work, job training, health care, civic engagement, and more. AT&T offers tiered pricing in our fiber footprint to provide customers with a variety of options. We also offer specially designed programs for low-income households and participate in government sponsored subsidy programs, including the federal Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) To help close the digital divide, AT&T will invest $2 billion over the next 3 years. As part of that commitment, we continue to offer discounted wireless solutions to more than 135,000 public and private K-12 schools, colleges, and universities. And through AT&T Connected Learning, we are investing in digital inclusion, literacy, learning and employment solutions to help connect today?s learners with skills, resources, and opportunities for success in school and in life.

PERFORMANCE MEASURING

AT&T Oklahoma conducts detailed analyses of any program requirements and performs rigorous business planning to ensure that we can meet all project requirements. We take our regulatory and contractual commitments seriously and have the expertise, experience and track record to deliver. AT&T Oklahoma has a history of meeting its commitments to deploy both fixed and mobile broadband on time and within budget. We are a scale network provider with extensive resources and a robust supply chain and are committed to defining a schedule, measuring project performance, and collecting necessary data once the scope of the project is more fully defined.
